What we collect and why
- Orders. Your name, email address and phone number, the recipient’s name and address, your delivery or collection date and any card message. We use these to make, deliver and support your order, which is necessary to carry out our contract with you.
- Payments. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Enquiries. Your name, email address and message when you use our contact form, so we can reply to you.
- Website statistics. Only if you agree, Google Analytics records how visitors use the website, such as which pages are viewed, so we can improve it. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Who helps us
We share information only with the services that help run the shop:
- Stripe takes card payments.
- Netlify hosts the website and stores order records.
- Resend sends order and enquiry emails to us.
- Photon (komoot), using OpenStreetMap data, suggests addresses as you type a delivery address, and postcodes.io checks the postcode is within our delivery area. Only the address text you type is sent.
- Google provides the website fonts and, if you agree, Google Analytics.
We never sell your information.
Cookies and storage
- Your basket and your cookie choice are saved in your own browser so they are still there when you come back. These are needed for the shop to work.
- Google Analytics cookies are set only after you choose Accept. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for six years, as company and tax law requires. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to help you.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
